![]() ![]() Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is the most-recent game released by From Software, with Elden Ring coming at some point in the future. There are also extra skins such as an older Sekiro for those who want to change up their look. With the recording feature, you'll be able to send a ghost version of your skills to other players, similarly to how the online features worked in Dark Souls and Bloodborne. Of course, someone will probably do them all in a row without taking a hit. With the difficulty of some of Sekiro's bosses, particularly near the end of the game, completing that challenge will be incredibly impressive. Gauntlet of Strength is more of a boss rush mode, pitting you against one boss after another without any extra lives. Reflection of Strength allows you to replay one of your favorite boss fights again, and it's a feature that we'd like to see in From Software's other games instead of having to completely replay a game. Going in to this review I wasn’t sure if Sekiro was going to be simply a ninja re-skin of Dark Souls, but there’s more than enough that’s different, and improved, that it stands on its own within the genre, even if it’s from the same developers. There are actually two different boss challenges included in the update. Sekiro is an electrifying power trip that demands a lot from the player, but if you let it grip you it will be hard to pull its rickety wooden hand from your wrist. ![]() ![]() Embrace your inner masochist, take on its challenge and you’ll be amazed by the amount of enjoyment you can glean. ![]() Like its predecessors, Sekiro will test your mental fortitude to breaking point. Stealth is one of your most powerful weapons.
